There are not many bands around like MooV. They exist in the cracks of several genres of music (jazz, avant-garde, classical, electronic), escaping any form of categorisation. The music centers around carefully crafted songs with floating electronic textures, improvised lines and rich instrumental sections. Comprising some of the most genre-phobic musicians in the UK, their line up will give you a flavour of what to expect; voice, ‘cello, electric bass, piano/keyboard, percussion and live electronics.
As part of Evolve, MooV will us the latest music technology to explore ways of integrating composed music and improvisation. The hope to work on a new (second album) as well as on collaborative projects with dance and theatre.
